Can I display more than 1 camera on a single Monitor of Decoder VJD-7513 in BVMS 11.0 when an alarm is triggered?
System Overview:
- BVMS 11
- 1 monitor connected to 1 x VJD-7513 that is part of a Monitor Group
- The monitor has a layout consisting of several image panes
- Desired status: when an alarm is triggered → pop up the image of the 4 cameras on the same decoder monitor
Answer
In Alarm Options > Monitor Group: BVMS allows you to assign 1 camera per each monitor column that has been added in the Monitor Group.
In case you have only one monitor column in the Monitor Group, and you try to assign a second camera in the second column (column named “2”), you will get an error saying that “Only one column has been configured for this monitor group.” because there is no second column with a second monitor configured in the Monitor Group. This is as designed.
