As of Device Pack 10.5 Milestone drivers for Bosch devices support dynamic events.
Those events are not predefined in the drivers and are read automatically from the device when it is first added to XProtect. XProtect puts Bosch dynamic events into three categories: audio events, input events and video events. All un-categorized events are added as video events. Some dynamic events can duplicate predefined events, this is done intentionally to keep backward compatibility with existing installations and older products.

- New events - changes in the rule set:
- If a new event appears or is removed (with a newer FW or otherwise) the user must use “Replace hardware” functionality of XProtect to reload the list of dynamic events, otherwise some event might not work.
- As of XProtect 2022R1 the 'Replace Hardware' procedure is replaces by a much more convenient way, which allows to re-read the devices settings, without the need of a hardware replacement:
- If a new event appears or is removed (with a newer FW or otherwise) the user must use “Replace hardware” functionality of XProtect to reload the list of dynamic events, otherwise some event might not work.
