The D5360 is a legacy interface which with limited capabilities. Because it uses the control panel’s program port, it is unable to access Diagnostics and Get History.  The D5360 can only be used to receive or send panel programming. Use the DX4010V2 as an alternative to the D5360 when compatible. The B930 can use menu items to activate emergency key functions in the same way as using the A or B or C keys on B920/B921C keypads. The steps below describe adding A B C key function from the shortcut menu. Add the A B C keys to the shortcut menu. 1. Select a response for each key under Keypads>Global Keypad Settings. 2. Add the A B C keys to a Shortcut Menu.      a. Select a Shortcut Menu number and double-click the Function parameter.      b. From the drop-down list, select the A or B or C key as the function.      c. Select Yes for the address of the keypad which will display the menu item.      d. The lowest numbered menu numbers are the first ones to display when the menus are accessed. LAN and WAN tests are diagnostic tools used to test the IP Communicator’s TCP/IP connection to the Local Area Network (LAN) and the Wide Area Network (WAN).  LAN Test checks the network’s ability to reach the default gateway IP address entry. WAN Test checks the network’s ability to reach the IP Test Address entry.  The default IP Test Address (8.8.8.8) is the IP address for www.google.com. Note: The default IP Test Address entry used for the WAN Test assumes an open network is in use. When a closed network is in use, enter an address available on the network to allow WAN test to pass.  Note: The LAN and WAN tests do not test for open UDP ports. LAN failures indicate the IP communicator is unable to reach the address entered as the default gateway.  This could be the result of an incorrect default gateway entry or a problem in the network itself.
