Do you want to configure the 3rd party iSCSI storage with different LUNs for recording more cameras without Bosch VRM?
Please find below if this application is supported.
Answer
Cameras can record to any 3rd party iSCSI target (configured correctly) via the iSCSI protocol. It can be configured per camera (so no option to configure multiple cameras at once).
This could be done using the Camera Interface or Configuration Manager.
As long as the camera can access the Target and scan the LUNs, this would work.
Please make sure that:
- The LUN size does not exceed 2000GB.
- You do not connect multiple cameras to the same LUN.
Important:
- The customer takes full responsibility for ensuring that the Own-Built iSCSI target gets configured correctly and ensures that the targets limitations are not exceeded.
- Bosch can not troubleshoot the Own-Built iSCSI Target in anyway or form.
