How to set MIC Inteox to deliver IVA events to Genetec?

The article describes how to ensure the delivery of the IVA events to Genetec Security Center via Hybrid Driver ( Other ( CPP13 or newer) driver )

Symptom:

Motion detection for a PTZ Preset does not alert for VCA rule created on Camera (Mic Inteox) itself, instead only alert for VCA rule created via ONVIF interface via Genetec.

Step-by-step guide

To correct the behavior, Genetec Security Center should be configured to let the unit manage its own VCA rules.

1. Open Config Tool from Genetec Security Center Sever. Select "Video" task.
   
   
   
2. Select the Unit under the archiver and expand. Then select the Camera itself. Switch to the "Video Analytics" tab.
   
   
   
3. lear the check box next to "Configure motion detection on unit" and apply. The Camera should reconnect and comeback.
