Even that the camera is set to a predefined pre-position, from time to time, the camera’s image position (Pan and/or Tilt) is changing randomly.
The issue does appear on the live video on the web interface, as well as on the live video on Bosch Configuration Manager.
After the image has drifted, using the Pre-Position preset does not return the image to the original view. The XY coordinates show the correct values, but the image remains in the drifted view.
This also occurs if the camera is moved with the PTZ and the preset pre-position is recalled, the image does not return to the original view, but the XY values return to the saved coordinates.
After a restart, camera is on its predefined preset, but the view of the preset is shifted.
Please note that Image Stabilization cannot be used in combination with VCA tasks, with the various MIC-7100i models. Turning Off the image stabilization will solve this behavior.
Access the camera’s web page > go to Configuration > Camera > Enhance > set the Stabilization option to Off
Note: If there are issues with vibration occurring with image stabilization off, the only option is to improve the mounting, so that the video to become more stable. Please ensure that you are using only Bosch approved accessories for mounting the cameras. If further assistance is needed on proper mounting, please refer to the Bosch mounting accessories and the installation manuals:
