After a complete installation of DIVAR IP System Manager and installation of BVMS + VRM + iSCSI, changing the BVRAdmin user to Limited user is not working.
By pressing CTRL+ALT+DEL & holding SHIFT key, the option to switch user is displayed but it doesn’t work. Only the login as BVRAdmin is possible
Another abnormal behavior that might arise is not returning to kiosk mode at all, after connecting to BVRAdmin user.
Limited user is available on DIVAR IP all-in-one 4000, if the unit has HDDs inside.
Every setup with DIVAR IP System Manager, on any DIP (AIO 7000 GEN 3, AIO 4000, AIO 5000, AIO 6000) that is "00N" (without HDDs) will fail and result in a lack of a "limited user" and "kiosk mode", if you do not insert the HDDs and perform the necessary steps from the manual.
Be sure that you follow the steps as described in every DIP manual, where it is explained what needs to be done for DIPs that come without HDDs from the factory.
Basically, you need to insert the HDDs (create the RAID volume if required) and perform a recovery with the 1st option that will format the volumes (⚠️ do not select the second option that overwrites with 1s and 0s every sector so that data could not be recovered anymore, this is not necessary. Option 1 would be enough).
1. Insert HDDs inside the DIP
2. Power on the unit
3. Press F7 during the boot to enter in the recovery mode
4. Select the 1st option
5. After reboot, DIVAR IP System Manager is displayed
6. Install BVMS + VRM + iSCSI and the rest of the Software packages
7. Perform another restart of the unit in order for the kiosk mode to be displayed and the limited user to log in.
