Which are the RTSP request URLs of SONY cameras for getting live stream?

Answer

The URL for RTSP stream (for example in VLC Media Player) should have the following format:

• rtsp://IP/media/video1
• or for Stream 2: rtsp://IP/media/video2
• or in case credentials are needed: rtsp://user:password@IP/media/video1

Note: If you cannot access one of the streams , the likely cause for this issue is that the stream is not enabled in the video codec settings. 

Solution:

• SNC-DH140: In the web interface, go to Setup > Camera, and in the video codec Tab, Verify Image 2 Codec is not off.
• SNC-VM600: In the web interface, go to Setting > Video/Audio, and in the video codec Tab, Verify Image 2 Codec is not off.
