Problem:
RPS Fails Network Test to the Cellular IP on one the following panels, GV2 with Firmare 7.06 and higher, GV3 Firmware 8.0x and the FPD-7024 with Firmware 1.03 and higher.
When attempting to connect via IP to the cellular IP address from RPS display Retry Count Exceeded
Steps to resolve:
A Manual VPN Connection needs to be opened on you PC or Laptop for RPS connection to the IP of the Cellular Card when using a B450 on the following panels, GV2 with Firmare 7.06 and higher, GV3 Firmware 8.0x and the FPD-7024 with Firmware 1.03 and higher.
How to Create a VPN on your PC
VPN Provider: Windows (built-in)
Connection name: Name that you will remember example. “Bosch FPD 7024 VPN”
Server name or address: vpn-2.onmagneto.com
VPN Type: Automatic
Type of sign-in info: User Name and Password *
Remember my sign-in info: checked
Select: Save
* User Name and Password Credentials are obtains from Bosch Installer Services

Question
Lost connection with FPA-1000 Browser and it will not allow me to reconnect, stating a Level 3 is already logged into the control panel. How can I get back in?
Answer
Use the following steps:
Log into programming at the control panel keypad by pressing the ENTER key. The Display will read PIN OK User Logged In Some where else Press Enter to Take over programming ESS to Give up
Press ENTER to take over programming control, then press ESC to exit programming.
Now you should be able to login from the Mozilla Firefox browser.

When programming the FPD-7024 Fire Control Panel from RPS, the first character of the Phone number or IP Address is not always programmed. You need to verify the panel program by hand from the panel keypad.
When programming a phone number it must start 1 then > (wait dial tone symbol), then the Central Station phone number. Example 1>18002890096.
If programming an IP address see below for each firmware type.
Firmware 1.03 and older with 5 Minute Supervision - Enter 0 to tell the panel this is an IP Address (then enter the 12 digit IP Address of the Central Station) followed by 015 the ACK Wait time then 150 the Poll Rate time then 1 Enable Anti-replay follow by # Enter (Refer to the below)
Firmware 1.06 and higher with 5 Minute Supervision - Enter 0 to tell the panel this is an IP Address (then enter the 12 digit IP Address of the Central Station) followed by 015 the ACK Wait time then 180 the Poll Rate time then 1 Enable Anti-replay follow by 0 ACK Time interval (0 = Seconds, 1 = Minutes, 3 = Hours) follow by 0 Heartbeat Time interval (0 = Seconds, 1 = Minutes, 3 = Hours) then # Enter (Refer to the chart below).

When using the DX4010V2 to connect to an FPD-7024, a Subscript out of Range error may result. This error may be caused by conflicting programming between the current panel program and the settings that RPS is sending to the panel.
Prior to connecting RPS, the panel must first be configured with the settings; Remote Programming Enabled=Yes and Ring Count=2 (or greater). When connecting via Enhanced Direct with the DX4010V2, Alternate Communications is set to Serial.
If an account with default settings; Remote Programming Enabled=NO or Ring Count=0, is sent to the panel using RPS the Subscript Out of Range error may result.
Verify the panel account in RPS is configured with Programming Enabled=Yes and Ring Count=2 (or greater) (see figures 1 and 2 below).

After programming is complete and the DX4010V2 is removed, update the panel’s option bus. Otherwise a trouble will be generated as the panel supervises for a device on Option Bus address 250.
Update the Option Bus to add or remove the DX4010V2 from the bus.
Press (3) Program System
Press (4) Option Bus
Press (1) Update Bus
The keypad will display “Updating . . . TOT BUS DEVS: XX”. XX = the total number of devices on the Option bus.
