Click on (Start ~> Run ~> type in CMD) In the Dos Screen type Arp –s [IP address wanted] [Mac address of dx4020 printed on the “xport” Ethernet jack] ~> enter To check : Type in same dos window Arp –g ~> enter to display Arp table Set the computer IP address one IP address number away from the DX4020. (Start ~> control panel ~> network connections ~> local area connection ) To Telnet card use computer with a crossover cable or patch cable over a network. Possible causes and solutions:   INVALID or MISSING HARDWARE KEY message when attempting to open the Connect window in RPS => The computer is not seeing the Hardware Key or Dongle.   If this is a new installation of RPS and if a USB dongle is used, then make sure the dongle was not plugged in during the installation. If the USB dongle was plugged in during the installation, then the dongle drivers must be uninstalled and reinstalled. The removal tool and installation file for the dongle are located on the RPS CD o download folder, in the Safenet Sentinel Pro Drivers folder, and the dongle must be unplugged while the drivers are reinstalled. Make sure the dongle is plugged in prior to opening the Connect window in RPS. The RPS dongle must be correct for the version of RPS installed for example, you cannot use an RPS Lite dongle (D5371-USB) for the full version of RPS (which requires the D5370-USB dongle). Check the model number printed on the dongle. It should be SRB11138 for the full version RPS USB dongle (P/N D5370-USB). When the Point/User Flag parameter is set to YES in 7000/9000 and G-GV4 panel types , point and user numbers will report in COMEX format which will appear different than normal. Points 1 - 9 report as 101 - 109 instead of 001, 002, 003..., also users will report in a non-standard format (see below).  Change the Point/User Flag parameter from YES to NO to send point and user reports in the standard manner described in the tables below. The Point/User Flag parameter is located in Panel Wide Parameters under Phone Parameters.  The Point/User Flag parameter determines how point and User ID numbers are presented at the D6500/D6600 display, printer, and computer RS232 output. Setting Point/User Flag to NO will configure the control panel to report points as sequential numbers from 001 to the end of the parameter range.  Setting the Point/User Flag parameter to YES causes the control panel to send a "flag" with each report telling the D6500/D6600 to convert point numbers and User ID numbers to COMEX format.
