Why am I not getting RX audio into my C-Soft console?
Answer
Look at the following items: Check to make sure that your Multicast address and Port numbers match in the C-Soft design and the IP-223/4 configurations. Now try a crossover cable from the IP-223/4 to the C-Soft PC. If this is still not working then the firewall in the PC could be causing an issue. To turn off the firewall in the PC do the following steps: 1. Go to the control pannel. 2. Change the View by: catagory to small icons. 3. Open Windows Firewall. 4. Click on "Turn Windows Firewall on or off" link. 5. Put the dot on "Turn off Windows Firewall (not recommended)" 6. Do this for each network location. 7. Click on ok. 8. Close out of the firewall window. 9. You should be back where you were before we opened the control pannel. Now try to get RX audio into the console. It should be working now.
