Note: The ASUS Inband Tool is the preferred log collection tool, all relevant logs can be gathered from there for ASUS Tech Support. (see article about How to collect logs from DIVAR IP all-in-one 7000 gen4 through ASUS Inband Tool?)
LSI Storage Authority, LSA for short, can be found on the DIP74xx’s Windows desktop.
1. Log in with the BVRAdmin account credentials by clicking the server’s tab (more than one could show, depending on how many are running in the system):
LSA RAID log gathering option;
Once logged into the LSI Storage Authority service on the server (use the LSA shortcut on the Windows Desktop for ease of connection), there are two possible options for log collection. The first is to “Download Server Report” on the upper right-hand side of the screen, this downloads an extensive log collection, which incorporates various files and logs pertaining to every aspect of the RAID hardware and configuration. If only an Event Log is required, a simpler option is available by clicking Show Events under the Actions header.
This provides an overview of the events on the RAID controller, note that the buffer for this log seems rather limited, so only recent events will show. Click the option “Download Events” to download a JSON-formatted log with a longer time frame than the web page listing.
2. Download Events
