It may not provide the accurate temperature readings with specific numeric values. The DINION IP Thermal 8000 camera primarily focuses on detecting heat signatures and providing high-contrast images based on temperature differences. While it is highly sensitive to temperature variations and can identify objects based on their thermal profiles, its primary function is not to measure exact temperatures. Instead, it detects relative temperature differences to identify and visualize objects, people, and vehicles. The camera uses thermal imaging technology to detect heat signatures, allowing it to detect objects in complete darkness and through visual obscurants like smoke, dust, and fog. VRM is a component within the Bosch video surveillance systems that manages the recording and storage of video data. The VRM user has access limited to tasks such as managing recording schedules, storage configurations, and video retrieval functions. If a password reset is needed for a DIVAR IP system, understanding whether the user is a BVRAdmin or a VRM user will determine the procedure to follow and the level of security required.   BVRAdmin lost password:   Default user settings for administrator account: User: BVRAdmin Password: WSS4Bosch or must be set at first sign-in       Password requirements:         – Minimum 14 characters.         – At least one upper case letter.         – At least one lower case letter.         – At least one digit In case of password loss of the BVRAdmin user, a system recovery must be performed as described in the installation manual.   During the lifespan of the DIP-74xx, there may arise a need to update the BIOS, but this will only be necessary if mandated by development. In such cases, a BIOS update file will be provided through development/product management channels. ❗Note Updating the BIOS will reset the BIOS password to the default version. An incomplete or incorrect BIOS update can severally affect the functionality of device or permanently damage it.   Requirements A Bosch DIVAR IP all-in-one 7000 4th gen system in place but powered off for this update. BMC already configured on BIOS settings.    1. Open a web browser and enter the IP address of the DIVAR IP BMC. This will display the login page where you can enter your login credentials. 2. Select the "Maintenance" option from the left-hand menu. 3. Choose the "BIOS Forced Update" option. 4. Click on "Browse" to search for and select the BIOS ROM file. 5. Click on the "Start BIOS update" button and wait for the upload to reach 100%. Then, click on the "Start flash" button. 6. Click on "OK" to confirm the flash procedure. 7. If the update process completes successfully, this pop-up will be displayed.
