To silence all NAC's of one panel (FPA-5000/Avenar) from the map in FSM
Insert a sensor on the map of FSM
Under sensor properties choose:
Add symbol: FIRE_Panel_FPA_BG
Driver Instance: the panel / compound where the FSM is belongs to
Address-> e.g. Panel 1-10.1
! Please pay attention: there are other “Panel” possibilities to choose. Please do not choose Panel 1-10 (Communication)!
After inserting the settings click “ok”
At the map when you right click the panel symbol you will get the commands as shown below.
If there is a fire alarm, you can right click at the panel and then click at “silence on”.
Please be sure, that then every NAC which is belonging to this panel is “silenced”.
Additional: there is also a command "silence scope" which then has the effect, that the whole scope will be silenced.
If the Item "Panel" is e.g. 1-1.1.1 respectively 1-1.SI_PANEL.1,then this item is the Group item of the panel system status items e.g. 1-1.1.1-1 till 1-1.1.1-10.
Most of these system status items have NORMAL as value after startup, others can have ON, e.g. items from Condition Monitoring.
Is it possible to use complex maps on the FSM client?
Recommendation is not to use very complex maps, very complex maps (means big size DWG files) can be made “lighter” by reducing the number of vertex (e.g. remove texts in DWG file and make rather use of the FSM text feature)
This article explains is we can use Remote desktop to run or use the FSM client.
When using remote desktop the error below will be shown when remote desktop is minimized and then maximized, the only option is to close the FSM client and start again.
