Note:  The Master - Slave application is used to save on popit addresses for a large systems. You can use one popit address for a long hall or one large room that would otherwise require several addresses to cover it. 1.  The F220-B6PM is a 24 VDC 4-Wire Master Popited Base that supervises up to nineteen F220-B6 Two-Wire Slave Bases. Uses for the  D298M over a D298S or D278S popited base? D278S 12 volt popit base. D298S 24 volt popit base. The D298M is a 24 volt popit base that provides connections for up to 19 supervised circuits two-wire slave detectors (D287 2-Wire Base with D285 Smoke Head or D285TH Smoke Head with 135 degree heat sensor) reporting to the master address. The D298M is used over the D298S to conserve popit addresses on a large system.

Issue The Timer Test is not coming in. The panel history shows Off Normal Test. The panel is programmed to send all reports in CID. Central does not see an E608 CID report for an off normal test. Solution Contact ID Reporting. The system can be programmed to send a periodic test report, E602, in Contact ID format. If any system troubles are present at the periodic test time, a new event, E608, which states “New event, off normal at time of periodic test report” is sent. Overview This article discusses the discrepancy between documented poll rates on an ITS-DX4020-G. Issue The Bosch Cellular Service User Guide states that for Fire applications we should go with a Poll rate of 240 Ack wait of 10. the current ITSDX4020-G O/I guide says Poll at 60 Ack wait 13. Which is correct? Solution 240 seconds with 10 second retries is correct for the current NFPA72 regulations for Fire. This used to be 60 seconds in the old NFPA72 standard.
