I am able to arm the area with a 24 hour point violated in the same area. How can I prevent the area from being armed with a 24 Hour point violated?
24hour points do affect the 'ready to arm' status of the area, therefore will not prevent the ability to arm after clearing the alarm while the 24hour point remains faulted.
Program the 24 Hour Point as a Type 1, Response 9. When using point response 9, the point will operate as a 24hour point. However because this will become a controlled point it will prevent arming until either satisfied or bypassed (if the point is configured as bypassible).
