A BROKEN Green Circle could mean the following:
Points are faulted and you can turn the system on to bypass those faulted points.
Chime points are faulted and you would be hearing a Chime Tone.
Both conditions are occuring.
How do I turn the Chime Mode ON and OFF on the Easy Series Control panel?
Follow the steps below to turn the Chime Mode ON and OFF on the Easy Series Control panel:
Hold the 4 key down on the keypad for 2-3 seconds and the panel will go into the Chime Mode sequence.
Once in there you will press the 4 key as needed to turn the Chime Mode to either the ON or OFF position.
How do I adjust the volume on the Easy Series Panels?
Follow the below step to adjust your control panel volume.
Hold the 5 key down for 2-3 seconds and the Keypad will go into volume control mode. Press the 5 key until the desired volume level is achieved.
Volume Level Settings: LOW - MEDIUM - HIGH - QUIET
Note: If the system is set for QUIET MODE then the Exit and Entry Delay tones will be SILENT.
Unable to get the token reader to work when the UI is mounted to a metal surface.
The IUI-EZ1 cannot be mounted directly to a metal surface. The UI needs to be separated by at least 3 inches of non-conductive material between the metal surface.
What are the steps to start and end the phone session programming?
1. House Phone: Press the # key three times, and enter the passcode when prompted. Default ( 5432 )
2. Outside Phone: Dial the house phone number, and press * key three times when the call is answered, Enter a passcode when prompted
3. Installers Quick Connect: Connect a phone set to the control panel's test post. Press and hold the test button for approximately 15 seconds. Enter a passcode when prompted.
Note: To end the phone session, Press the # key repeatedly until the system says "goodbye".
