Alarm Management by Bosch can be used directly by end customers as self-monitoring service or by Security Operation Centers (SOCs). In this article it is presented how you can export an alarm clip from Alarm Management to the local PC. 🛈  Please consider this article before proceeding with this step-by-step guide: Difference Between Cloud Storage and Event alarm clip   Step-by-step guide   Export of Alarm Clips 1. Login to the Alarm Management Eventmonitor 2. By clicking on an event from the Event List, the Operator Interface will be displayed:   3. The event clips will be uploading from the camera  To export an alarm clip, click on the play button and then you can simply right click on the video you would like to export and select Save video as...   Select the location where the mp4 file will be exported > click Save The clip will be exported as an .mp4 file:   Export of Cloud Recording Another 2 ways to export a clip is from Investigation Mode or by accessing the camera from the Live Views menu.   1. Investigation Mode By clicking on the "Investigate" button, you will be redirected to the video you have selected. Scroll the timeline and search for the moment you would like to export the clip and click   Type in the number of seconds before and after the event (how long the clips you want to be) and click on the Create Clip> button. The .mp4 file will be exported.   2. Live Views menu 1. Go to the Live Views menu and select the Site where the camera is located for which you want to export the Cloud Recording for it:   2. After selecting your camera, its Live view will be displayed on the left side:   3. Hover on the Live view image and move the timeline to select the start time when you want the clip to be exported:   4. Question   Can I restrict the live view or playback in VSC for certain cameras added in DIVAR hybrid 5000?   Answer   Yes, you can restrict the live view or playback for certain cameras added in DIVAR hybrid 5000 for an user who is using Video Security App. To do that, access the DIVAR's menu and go to Settings > System > Account > select the user you would like to restrict the live/ playback access for and click on the "Edit pen" button   Go to the Live/ Playback submenu and uncheck the cameras you want to be restricted in Video Security App for the user you have selected and press Save. In this example, we restricted the access for camera 1 (Playback):   In this example, we restricted the access for camera 1 & 2 (Live):   🛈 Note: Snapshots and screen recording in VSC App: The users are not able to see playback/ live of the cameras where they don't have the permission for. They are able to save snapshots and make a screen recording while using the app. This feature has nothing to do with the user permissions in the DIVAR. Making snapshots and screen recording is always possible when using a mobile device. So when this feature would be disabled in the App, they can still take snapshots (pressing 2 buttons simultaneously) and make screen recordings of there screens (function embedded in the device or using a screen recording app). 🕒 This procedure takes in average ~ 15 min to complete   In this article you will see how you can display the video stream on a Monitor which is decoded from a VIDEOJET 7000 decoder integrated in BVMS 11.1.1   Before starting to do the configuration in BVMS 11.1.1, please make sure that the setup is correctly prepared. The monitor is connected to the VIDEOJET 7000 decoder The cameras are connected Note: Number of monitors depends on each decoder’s capability You should take into consideration the decoding performance (resolution and bitrate) according to the datasheet of the decoder.   Step-by-step guide   When the physical setup is well prepared, you can open BVMS 11.1.1 Configuration Client  Add your cameras in Configuration Client (Devices tab)  In this setup we have added 4 Bosch cameras that we will display the video stream of them on a Monitor   2       Add the decoder and monitor group in Configuration Client (Devices tab) → right click on Decoders and scan for decoders → right click on Monitor groups and add monitor group    3       Drag & drop the Monitor to the Monitor Group   4       Go to Cameras and drag & Drop the cameras you would like to add into the Monitor Group.    5       Make sure that all cameras have the same "user" password as it is set for decoder "user" and Destination password to get the live view Note:  The special characters used in the passwords have to meet the requirements of all components: BVMS, camera, decoder. For example, special characters such as: <> are not allowed and might not work   6      Now, you have to be sure that you follow the rules from the Connection Scenario Table. For example, in this setup we'll meet the requirements as per the following rule: The secure connection can be checked by right clicking on the decoder and cameras → Edit Decoder/ Encoder → thick the box next to the "Secure connection" → OK. Possible causes and solution(s)   Causes   Essential Video Analytics (VCA) does not work as soon as the image is rotated to 90 degrees (under Initialization) and the camera is restarted. Additionally, the movements or objects are not recognized. As soon as you set "Rotate image" to 0 degrees and set it back to 90 degrees, motion detection via Essential Video Analytics suddenly works again.   Solution   Please download the released firmware 7.86 from downloadstore.boschsecurity.com and do an upgrade. ✔️  The issue with VCA is fixed in this version of firmware. 🕒 This procedure takes in average ~ 6 min to complete   Prior to the step by step guide within this article, please note the following information: 🛈  Info Prior to BVMS 11.1.1 this function was already possible outside SDK, by using the standard alarm configuration. By using the ClientSDK or EnterpriseClientSDK it is possible to call up a preconfigured position of a panoramic camera. This new functionality is used in scripts to call up a position triggered by events/ alarms.  In case the Image pane is showing a panoramic camera, the new method automatically changes the mode to "cropped view" and sets the predefined position. Panoramic and circle view is not supported by SDK. Predefined positions must be configured beforehand using the Configuration Client.   The alarm image pane can pop up in Operator Client and on a decoder as well. But, please note that this feature is only supported on the VJD-8000 and VJD-7513 series. Older decoders will show circle view only or no image at all (for example if the performance limit is reached). The de-warping on the decoder is only working fine if the calibration of the camera has been done properly (wall, floor or ceiling mount). Configuring a custom mounting position (tilt & roll angle) on the camera, may display a different picture on the decoder than in the Operator Client. For example, the picture might be rotated by 90 degrees on the decoder.   In this article you will see how you can call up a FLEXIDOME IP panoramic 5000 camera predefined preposition in Operator Client. The preposition is configured in BVMS 11.1 - Configuration Client.     Step-by-step guide   We start from the idea that the FLEXIDOME IP panoramic 5000 camera has already been added in Devices and Maps and Structure   1. Configure the pre-position on the FLEXIDOME IP panoramic 5000 camera Go to Cameras and Recording > select the FLEXIDOME IP panoramic 5000 camera > click on the Predefined positions and AUX commands button (3) Type in the name of the Predefined position (4) and save it (5) and click OK     2. Save your changes before going to the next tab Events   Here you should switch the Event to Always in order for it to be displayed in the Alarms tab. Do not forget to save these changes.   3. Now, go to the Alarms tab and click on the three dots button under the Alarm Image Panes section > Select the FLEXIDOME IP panoramic 5000 camera and switch to the preposition that you have created earlier (in this case "01: Test Panoramic") from the drop-down menu, under the Panoramic predefined position option > click OK   4. Save & Activate the configuration   5. Open Operator Client and drag & drop your camera in the Image pane.
