Question
My Network Recorder program will not open and gives an message saying " # defined active channels. Key allows for # channels." - why?
Answer
To get back into the Network Recorder you will have to delete a file and then reprogram the NR with the multicast addresses. This will reset the Network Recorder Multicast Table to factory defaults and will also enable you to run the program with a lower line Network Recorder key.
After completing these steps you will need to reprogram the Multicast addresses of your IP-223’s that you want it to record:
To reset the Multicast addresses in the Network Recorder, delete the file recordIP.telex located at C:\Program Files\Telex Communications\Telex Network Recorder\DataFiles\
Reboot the Network Recorder and now you should be able to program the NR with the multicast addresses and then the NR program will run.
