What is the Access Output on a DS7400XI?
Solution
Access Output: This is an output programmed to activate for 10 seconds when an access control PIN is entered at the keypad.
Note: Not UL listed for access control (UL294)
Issue
The D7036 keypad displays "INVALID PIN" every time a button is pressed.
Solution
You must add the PIN used by the D7036 to the panel, and assign an authority level:
Enter program mode by pressing [0] and then entering the programmer's PIN (the default programmer's PIN is 9876).
Press [2] to choose Security.
Press [1] to choose PINs.
Press [2] to choose User PINS.
Enter a user number that is not already in use, then press [#].
Enter [9436] for the PIN and then press [#].
Press [*] twice to return to the Security menu.
Press [2] to choose Authority.
Enter the same user number that you created in step 5.
Press [2] to choose Medium.
Press [*] three times to exit programming mode.
To silence all NAC's of one panel (FPA-5000/Avenar) from the map in FSM
Step-by-step guide
Insert a sensor on the map of FSM
Under sensor properties choose:
General:
Add symbol: FIRE_Panel_FPA_BG
Settings:
Driver Instance: the panel / compound where the FSM is belongs to
Address-> e.g. Panel 1-10.1
! Please pay attention: there are other “Panel” possibilities to choose. Please do not choose Panel 1-10 (Communication)!
After inserting the settings click “ok”
Then Apply
At the map when you right click the panel symbol you will get the commands as shown below.
If there is a fire alarm, you can right click at the panel and then click at “silence on”.
Please be sure, that then every NAC which is belonging to this panel is “silenced”.
Additional: there is also a command "silence scope" which then has the effect, that the whole scope will be silenced.
