Solution When the fire bell time (address 0195 in version 3, address 4032 in version 4) or burglary bell time (address 0196 in version 3, address 4033 in version 4) is set to 99 for a DS7400Xi version 3 or 4 this sets the bell cutoff time to 30 seconds. For indefinite bell output then these programming addresses should be set to 00.  For 98 minutes of bell output these should be set to 98. Solution The DS7432 eight input remote module is interfaced with DS7400 series panels thru either the DS7430 (single mux bus) or DS7436 (dual mux bus) Multiplex Expansion Module. Connect the mux bus + terminal to the DS7432 module bus + and the respective mux bus - terminal to the DS7432 module bus - terminal. What programmmer was used to program the wireless transmitters point transmission interval, point #, and house code on a D7112 wireless system?

Issue 1.) The D7112 receives a busy signal for all ten attempts to reach the receiver. Diagnosis Calls are not reaching the receiver The receiver call load could be too great. Issue 2. )What would cause the receiver to answer the call and provide an acknowledgment tone, but the communicator does not transmit reports? Diagnosis The receiver is not producing the correct acknowledgement tones. The D136 relay in J10 for ground start phone systems is inserted incorrectly. Solution Verify that the correct prefixes and phone numbers for the receiver have been programmed into the D7112. Verify that the phone lines are not shorted between the phone company's equipment and the receiver by placing a call to the number for the receiver. If you hear the line ring, but the ring detector doesn't light, or if you hear a busy signal and the green "on the line" (OL) indicator is not lit, call the phone company for service. Verify that the receiver is producing a 2300 Hz or Modem II acknowledgment tone. Verify the D136 relay is in the socket J10 correctly.  

Issue Unable to use Command 00 function. When CMD 00 is entered, keypad reads 'SYSTEM COMMAND' or 'INVALID KEYS'. Solution Un-Bypassing points on the D7112 panel must be done by using the FUNCTION Menu. Access the Function menu by pressing 'Enter' at the idle disarmed text. Press Next repeatedly until Function Menu displays. To access the UNBYPASS screen press enter on Function menu and Next until UNBYPASS displays. Display will read ENTER POINT NUMBER, enter the point number to be bypassed and press Enter. Display will read the text for the point, press enter again and screen will read POINT UNBYPASSED.

Issue D7112 Panel battery will not hold a charge. Solution A slow flashing (1 sec on, 1 sec off) yellow LED with the green CPU LED off indicates a power supply overload condition.  The panel detects the battery as missing and the power supply cannot meet the power demand of the devices on the panel. The panel is shut down.
