Overview: Internal testing has found that if a D9210B (version 1.08 firmware) is currently in the energized state and a Reset is performed on the panel (manual reset using the reset switch or a Reset-Bye using RAM/RPS), the D9210B may deenergize the Lock Relay after a 30-minute delay. This is due to a firmware issue in the D9210B.
Issue
After manual reset, the lock output denergizes after 30 minutes. What causes this?
How to determine the max distance the DX3010 can be remote located from the control panel.
The maximum distance that the DX3010 can be remote located from the control panel is determined by whether or not an auxiliary power supply is used to power the DX3010.
Issue
What handler is used to program the D2812 panel.
Solution
The D5200 2212 product handler supports the following panels: D2212, D2212B, D2212BE, D2412, D2412U, D2812, D2812U.
How to correct when the Independent Zone Controller point never restores to normal.
The panel point that uses a D279 or D279A never shows normal even though the Independent Zone Controller points are all normal.

Issue
Will an Answering Machine cause the D168A not to answer when accessed locally?
Solution
Some answering machines load down the phone line and cause it to go below 7 VDC. The D168A needs at least 7 VDC to properly process the DTMF tones.

Issue
How can I tell if the D168 will work with my control?
Solution
There are 3 items that are important when determining if it will be fully compatible with the control that is in question.
1. The control must provide a 12 volt dc aux power source to the D168A.
2. The control must have the ability to program a point as a keyswitch point. This only applies if you want to arm/disarm through the phone. Otherwise, you will just get arm/disarmed status. The keyswitch point can be programmed as momentary or maintained.
3. The control must have the ability to program a trigger that will trip and stay tripped when the system is armed.
Issue
The D279 or D279A will not recover the default passcode while following the instructions.
Solution
You are performing this procedure while one of the D279A zones is not in a normal condition. Normalize D279A zones and the default procedure will work.
