Question
What does happen when you change the IP address of your DIVAR IP all-in-one unit?
Answer
The DIVAR IP all-in-one unit should be configured with a single IP and be connected to a network where is desired to work further.
Any modification of the DIP unit IP, adding of a Network Dongle, moving of the ethernet cable in another network switch, even temporary, will stop the communication between the VRM and BVMS and could lead to issues. (e.g. No recording /iSCSI Target unreachable etc.)
For that to happen, you must find an interim solution to access the unit in the desired definitive network. (For example, you could use a pc with internet access and Team viewer and connect it on the same network with the affected unit and connect trough this PC to DIP using a remote connection in that network).
The affected unit must have a definitive IP address and must be kept connected on the same definitive port/network.
