When attempting to use the Excursion mode feature on a 2000 series panel, why does the keypad prompt the user to enter a passcode after pressing the Clear key? D2212,D2412,D2812

Issue How can I setup Open/Close on a 2000 series panel?   Solution   Using RPS/RAMIV 1. Connect to the control via modem/RPS and receive all panel data and save to your RPS database. 2.  Go to the Reports section of the program. A. Turn on All-On reports by selecting Yes. B. Turn on Part-On reports by selecting Yes. 3. Save your changes and send the changed data back to the control. Test it out. Using 5200 1. Latch the installer clip on the control panel and receive a fresh copy of the panel data. 2. After you see Receive Successful on your 5200, go to the Reports section of the program.  3. Using the white SPACE bar on the 5200 press it to toggle NO to YES to turn on O/C for both ALL ON and PART ON. 4. Press the red SEND LOAD key, disconnect the programmer and unclip the installer switch. Test it out.

How to prevent Users from Changing Codes on 2000 Series panels. Pressing 5 to change codes is available to Owners and Users. How can Users be prevented from changing codes? D2212,D2412,D2812

Overview Remote Program (Key 2) After pressing the [2] key and entering an Owner passcode to enter the Remote Program Mode, the display shows SYSTEM PROGRAM IN PROGRESS. If the [CLEAR] key is pressed to return to the OFF state, the system will not allow re-entering the Remote Program Mode for 30 seconds. Issue Remote Program (Key 2) and owners code will not work twice in a row. Solution D2212B Firmware Revision 3.03 After pressing the [2] key and entering an Owner passcode to enter the Remote Program Mode, the display shows SYSTEM PROGRAM IN PROGRESS. Issue If using the D220A on the D2112 do I have the Exit Feature? Solution No, the D2112 does not have the Exit Feature. It uses the "Step Out Feature". The Exit Feature does appear on page 23 of the Users Guide, but that is because this Keypad can also be used on other 2000 Series Panels which have the Exit Feature.

Issue What is the open air range on the 2 button and 4 button ITI keyfobs?   Solution   The 60-607-319.5 two button and the 60-606-319.5 four button ITI keyfobs are 500 feet open air transmitters.

Issue Can zones 7 and 8 be used as normally open zones, and do they require any supervision?   Solution   Zones 7and 8 are not supervised on the D2112 and D2212 panels and therefore can only be used as normally closed zones, they will not work as normally open zones because no EOL is used. Voltages of 2.4 to 13.9VDC would be an open condition while voltages 0.0 to 1.4VDC would indicate a closed circuit on these points.
