Step-by-step guide   Move a Service license from an user to another one in Remote Portal:   Go to the "Service Licensing" menu and make sure that the license you would like to move it from your account to another user is not assigned to a camera. The Assigned To field should be empty. Click on the three dots button → click on the trash button (delete)   Before removing the license from your account, copy the License Key displayed   Now, the License Key copied before must be pasted to the Service Licensing from the other user account.  Once the other user is logged in, paste the code by clicking: Service Licensing → 3 dots button → Add Licenses → paste the License Key → Save → OK   The license is now moved to the other user account     Check if the license is assigned to a camera: click on the "Service Licensing" menu and check if there is a camera in the Assigned to column, next to the license you want to move   To easily remove the licensed camera from your account, click on the camera name (Flexidome IP Panoramic 5000 MP camera in this example) and remove it by clicking on the trash button (delete)   You will get a message to confirm that you want to delete the camera → click Yes ... Question   Is the time in the Remote Portal graph different from the one exported to the csv file?   Answer   The graph from Remote Portal is displayed in local time   The export is displayed in UTC (= Coordinated Universal Time).   The export can only be done with the UTC time zone. This is the time zone in which the counter data is stored and it is per design. AVIOTEC camera is a video-based fire detector with the capability of detecting both fire and smoke in the scene, it is also fully capable of running standard IVA rules in the camera. When smoke or fire is been detected, AVIOTEC will sent a Smoke/Fire event to the Alarm Management and at the same time trigger it’s output.  Using this output status, we are able to trigger Alarm Management .   Please make sure that these pre-conditions are met: You have access to a Alarm Management instance The AVIOTEC camera that you want to configure is connected to the Alarm Management via Remote Portal You have activated the appropriate Alarm Management license in Remote Portal for the respective AVIOTEC camera You are running the latest firmware for the AVIOTEC. This example was tested with: 7.82.0025.   Step-by-step guide   Limitation: There are 3 Fire profile in AVIOTEC, the default been “Fire”, this profile will not allow configuration of IVA rules in the camera. The other 2 profiles are called “Fire #1” and “Fire #2” these are profiles that works with both Fire/Smoke detection and IVA rules.  Please just use “Fire #2” profile that works with both Fire/Smoke detector and with IVA detections for Alarm Management. The output (relay) of the AVIOTEC will turn on when either Smoke or Fire has been detected, it will remain on if the Smoke or Fire still visible, hence, Alarm Management will only be triggered once in such case.  The output (relay) will reset to off when there are no Smoke or Fire visible in the scene. Regardless of how many fire spots have been detected, the output (relay) on the AVIOTEC will not retrigger when a new fire spot or smoke spot is been detected, it will remains on as long as there is one fire or smoke spot in the scene. Below are the steps to configure both the camera and the Alarm Management for Fire/Smoke Detection. For details on how to setup the AVIOTEC camera for Fire/Smoke detection, please refer to the manual for details.   In the following example, we will be using “Fire #2” profile, the steps for “Fire” profile is the same, except that “Fire” profile does not allows configuration of IVA rules. Step 1: Goes to VCA->Main Operation. Select “Fire #2” profile   Step 2: Go to Fire Detection Configure the Fire detection parameters as required.   Step 3: Login to the Alarm Management instance. Navigate to the relevant site and add the device to the Alarm Management (if not already done: https://community.boschsecurity.com/t5/Security-Video/How-to-add-Remote-Portal-cameras-to-Bosch-Cloud-VMS/ta-p/49710) Create a new Alarm Management Service using Live Intervention.   Step 4: Select the Trigger Device as the AVIOTEC camera, the Triggering Event as "Relay 1 ON" of the camera. Select Always as the Arming Period. Provide a self-explanatory Name for the service. If there is a need to automatic or intervention actions, you will also need to configure it accordingly. Just an idea, you can create a pre-recorded voice message, such as “Fire or Smoke detected, please exit the building in an orderly manner” and use this as an audio announcement that could be triggered by the operator via the EVENTMONITOR web GUI.   The audio file is loaded to the Alarm Management and the action will play this audio file to any cameras in the site that has a speaker connected. This article describes the method about how you can import a .txt file containing a group of cameras from Configuration Manager in Project Assistant App. System Requirements The Project Assistant app is available for Android 9.0 or higher with OpenGL ES 3.0 or higher, iOS 13 or higher, Windows 10.1607 “Anniversary Update” (64 bit) or higher. See more in Release Notes.   Step-by-step guide   Export the .csv file, transfer the existing data into the Excel Template file & transform the file in .txt file   1. If your cameras have the same password for the service user, you can authenticate on them in one go by right clicking on the group name > click Select Group   2. Then, right click on one of the cameras from the group > click on Set Session Authentication...   3. And type in the password of your cameras.   Note: If your cameras have different service user password, then you have to right click on each camera, one by one, and authenticate on them with the corresponding password.   4. Next, select Table View.. and go to the General > Unit Access tab Here you will see the details of your cameras belonging to the same group.   5. Now, you have to export the cameras details in order to have all necessary details to be filled in the Excel Template file "2019_09_12_example_project_IMPORT_template_minVersion_PA1.3.xlsx". This Template is needed to be complete, in order to be imported afterwards as  "Unicode Text (*.txt")" file in the Project Assistant App.     6. Once you have exported the Cameras details in the .csv file from Configuration Manager, open the file and copy & paste your existing data from your initial spreadsheet file into the Excel Template file (you do not need to populate every column of the template but it is recommended to have minimum of details filled in → e.g.:  mandatory IP address  + subnet, gateway, MAC address; Also, the password:service column would be good to have if you want to import the cameras in the PA App without entering their credentials) 7. Once the Excel Template is complete, save it as "Unicode Text (*.txt")" file   Import the group of cameras in Project Assistant App   1. Open the PA App and select Project assistant tile > click Continue   2. Create a new Project by clicking Create new button   3. Complete the details of your new project and click OK > Next > Done 4. Now, you can import the .txt file you have created earlier. ⚠️ A DIP 5000 AIO is configured as a JBOD box and if one drive goes bad then you will have to replace that drive and all the data will be lost on the faulty HDD.   Step-by-step guide    Note: Please make sure that you turned off your unit before following the next steps   Step 1: Replace the faulty drive, insert the additional or new hard drive    1. Press the red button of the defective or empty slot   2. Hold the handle and pull the hard drive carrier out of the unit   3. After inserting the new drive on the carrier, put the carrier back to the slot   4. Make sure to return the handle to its original position and it is secure   Step 2: Log on Windows with admin rights Start the system and log in the Windows environment using the sys admin credentials User: BVRAdmin Password : WSS4Bosch   Step 3: Proceed to Server Manager Open Server Manager and navigate to File and Storage Services Select the Disks -> the new HDD will have the Partition status Unknown  -> select the HDD, right click and select Initialize   Step 4: Creating the New drive using New Volume Wizard To create a new volume on the newly added HDD, right click on it again and select New Volume   The New Volume Wizard will appear, select the drive you want to configure-> next-> allow all the space -> next    Note the letter allocated to the drive, in our case H and make sure the values are: File system = NTFS Allocation unit size = DEFAULT Volume label  = NEW VOLUME   Click next and  check if config is correct and select Create   Step 5: Creating a .vhd volume for the iSCSI drive using “New iSCSI Virtual Disk Wizard”   Go to iSCSI in the same list at Server Manager and right click in the iSCSI virtual Disks and select New iSCSI Virtual Disk Add the path of the drive you created in our case H:\ select Next -> Enter a name as example vhd_H   As you know, the recommended maximum size of a LUN is approximately 2TB . Depending on the disk size you are adding in your system, you need to be sure the size of each LUN does not exceed the 2TB.
