    When a user decides to use SingleKey ID (SKID) or an integrated customer IDP (company account) as the authentication method for Bosch Remote Portal or Alarm Management a technical password will be required to login to other applications that do not support SingleKey ID or any other IDP. In the following, it is explained how to create a technical password and how to use it with an application like for example Bosch Configuration Manager or Bosch Project Assistant app, that does not support SingleKey ID or any other IDP.

    VideoView+ for DIVAR IP allows you to remotely monitor video footage from cameras connected to your DIVAR IP. It’s ideal for multi-site facilities, from mid-to-larger quantities of cameras per site, in need of local high-retention time, or RAID recording requirements. This is compatible with DIVAR IP all-in-one 4000, 5000, 6000, and 7000. To use the VideoView+ online service, you must first have an account on Remote Portal.

If the license was claimed in a wrong Remote Portal account and not activated yet for example you have the option to unclaim it and use it afterwards in the desired account."

    If, for example, you bought 1-year and 3-years VideoView+ licenses and you added them into Remote Portal, but you cannot see them in the “Add services – Activate Services” menu, please check whether you still have few days or weeks of trial validity from the free 1 month license activated on your cameras.

    If the CPP6, 7 and 7.3 cameras no longer have a live image or there is a delay in the image, and the Internet connection has been tested and is within normal parameters, it would be good to check if the cameras have the latest current firmware version 7.86.0020. This firmware version solves a 100% CPU load issue for CPP6, 7, 7.3 from firmware 7.82 to 7.86.19

    Bosch Remote Portal provides the VideoView+ Service which allows to display live video, replay of recorded video on the camera, and a forensic search on Video Security Client. Further the Video Security App (on iOS and Android) can receive push alarm notifications triggered by motion in the camera image, for example.     Starting from July 2024, it will not be possible to commission new devices via MAC address (Device Layer). Running devices remain untouched until end of life of Device Layer, but new commissioning will be only possible with Remote Portal devices from then on.
