Question
How can I change the BVRAdmin password of my DIVAR IP 6000 AIO?
Answer
The BVRAdmin password is a password for a Windows user and needs to be changed accordingly, from Windows settings (Select Start > Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options. Under Password, select Change and follow the directions.)
Please be aware that if you have BVMS installed on your DIVAR, it is important to change in BVMS Configuration Client the iSCSI target password after this was changed for BVRAdmin user.
Please refer to the below steps:
go in BVMS Configuration Client
click on “VRM Devices”
click on pool
right click on iSCSI target device
edit iSCSI Device; here you have the iSCSI target credentials and you need to put in the new password for BVRAdmin user.
input the new password.
Note: In case the VRM is down and it shows “Service Starting” in Services after this change, please restart the system. VRM should come back online, and the system will start recording again without any issues.
Important
In case of password loss of the BVRAdmin user, a system recovery must be performed as described in the installation manual. The configuration must be done from scratch or must be imported.
