Why does the zone light on the D360 Command Center light when the D279A is disarmed?
Solution
The D8112 panel is programmed with a zone code of 3271 on a particular zone. The purple jumper on the D279A is cut. As a result, the D360 zone light illuminates when the D279A is disarmed.
This is normal and will not impact the D8112 arming process. If the D1252A is used, the disarm state of the D279A is not indicated.

Overview: Power up charging status of the battey on a D4112 panel will send a trouble Zn 9 during Recharge cycle.
Issue
Why does the panel send a Trouble Zn 9 when the battery is charging?
Solution
After the AC is restored the battery will begin to charge. When the battery reaches a charging level of 11.1 volts, and maintains battery voltage level above 10.3 volts for 1 minute, the panel will RESET and a battery trouble (Trouble Zn 9) will be sent to the Central Station. When the battery reaches the charging level of 12.5 volts a Restoral Zn 9 is sent to the Central Station.
Issue

Overview: Firmware revision 2.20 and higher limit errors when keypad programming a D2212 panel for D208 point expansion.
Issue
Why does the D2212 panel not allow keypad programming for a D208 point expander?
Solution
Before firmware revision 2.20, it was NOT possible to program the D2212 for a D208 Point Expander using keypad programming. Panels before firmware version 2.20 should be programmed with the D5200 handheld programmer or RAMIV/RPS download software.
Firmware revision 2.20 and above CAN be programmed via the keypad.

What is RPS Call Back?
Solution
RPS Call Back
Default setting is No.
Selections are Yes or No
Parameter Description
Using this function allows the control panel, after it has verified the RPS passcode, to provide an additional level of security by hanging up and dialing the RPS phone number to call RPS at the central station prior to allowing any upload or download.
Important: When using the RPS Callback function, enter a "C" as the last digit in the RPS phone number if DTMF dialing is used.
Parameter Options
Yes: When the control panel hears the proper RPS passcode, it hangs up the phone, seizes the phone line, then dials the programmed RPS phone number (see RPS Ph ). This ensures that only the control panel communicates with the RPS PC connected to the dialed phone number.
No: The RPS session is initiated immediately; no call back is required. The control panel engages in RPS sessions when called from any phone number and a proper RPS passcode is identified.
