Overview
Set up of a D6112 panel to have keyswitch arming. D611 is required.
*Note - D611 is no longermade.
Issue
Keyswitch arming the D6112 panel.
Solution
D6112 panel can use a D611 Key Switch Module.
The D611 connects to the panels serial device data wiring. (connects in series like a keypad)
Panel programming:
4.1 Device# = location in the series wiring of the serialdevice data
1,2,3,4.
4.2 D#Model = 1
6.1 Combo3 = 8
Notes
D4112, D6112, and the D611 no longer made.

Can I mix Heat Detectors and 2 wire smokes with a sounder when using a D132A Smoke Detector Polarity Reversing Module?
Solution
No. When a Heat detector goes into alarm it puts a short on the input zone to indicate the alarm. The D132A uses Aux power from the panel when the polarity reversal takes place and since a heat detector does not reset when polarity is reversed, it would put a direct short on the Aux power of the panel. Consequently everything connected to the same Aux power terminals would not function.

What keypads will work on the D6112?
Solution
Compatible keypads are:
D420A, 6 zone LED. This will work but only the first six zones will be displayed.
D620, 8 zone LED.
D626, 16 zone LED.
D630, 8 zone LED with 3 onboard expansion points.
D636A, 16 zone alpha display with 3 onboard expansion points

How to test the RF280THS wireless smoke used on the D4412 and D6412.
When testing the RF280THS by pressing the 'Test' button does not generate a panel alarm.
How to configure the D4412 or D6412 for Point Expansion using RPS.
1. Program the D4412 or D6412 for using point doubling.
2. Address the DX2010 for point groups.
3. Select the EOL to be used with point groups.
