How many on-board zones does the D6112 Control Communicator have?
Solution
The D6112 Control communicator has eight end-of-line resistor supervised hardwire protective zones. There are six standard programmable zones; one nominal 12 VDC powered zone optimized for two-wire smoke detectors and one nominal 12 VDC powered zone optimized for two-wire glass-break detectors.
Issue
Can not get the panel to send modem format. Modem is set to yes in the program, and the CS is set to 7. The panel will send BFSK.
Solution
To report in Modem II format, the following must be set:
Be sure the receiver will accept Modem II format.
Account number can be a 3 or 4 digit for modem. If using a 3 digit, program a zero as the first digit.
Program item 2.3, Modem, must be set to yes.
Program item 3.3, AModem, must be yes if using an alternate phone number as well.
Program item 2.5, Ack14, must be set to no.
Program item 3.5, AAck14 must be no if using an alternate phone number as well.
Program item 2.7, Ack23, must be set to no.
Program item 3.11, AAck23, must be no if using an alternate phone number as well.
When Modem format is selected, the panel will ignore any entries in the CS line of the program.

Yes. The Command Centertrouble buzz will timeout after 30 to 45 seconds following restoration of AC power.
