How many on-board zones does the D6112 Control Communicator have?
The D6112 Control communicator has eight end-of-line resistor supervised hardwire protective zones. There are six standard programmable zones; one nominal 12 VDC powered zone optimized for two-wire smoke detectors and one nominal 12 VDC powered zone optimized for two-wire glass-break detectors.
Can not get the panel to send modem format. Modem is set to yes in the program, and the CS is set to 7. The panel will send BFSK.
To report in Modem II format, the following must be set:
Be sure the receiver will accept Modem II format.
Account number can be a 3 or 4 digit for modem. If using a 3 digit, program a zero as the first digit.
Program item 2.3, Modem, must be set to yes.
Program item 3.3, AModem, must be yes if using an alternate phone number as well.
Program item 2.5, Ack14, must be set to no.
Program item 3.5, AAck14 must be no if using an alternate phone number as well.
Program item 2.7, Ack23, must be set to no.
Program item 3.11, AAck23, must be no if using an alternate phone number as well.
When Modem format is selected, the panel will ignore any entries in the CS line of the program.
How many 2 wire smokes will the D7112 support on zone 1?
Manufacturer & Models, and the number of smokes
Radionics D262 with the D260 base = 20 smokes
DS200 with the MB200-2w base = 10 smokes
System Sensor 1400 = 10 smokes
System Sensor 2400 = 10 smokes
System Sensor 2400TH = 10 smokes
System Sensor 1451 with the B401 base = 10 smokes
System Sensor 1451 DH with the DH400 base = 10 smokes
System Sensor 2451 with the B401,B401B or DH400 = 10 smokes
System Sensor 2451TH with the B401,B401B or DH400 = 10 smokes
System Sensor 2300T = 10 smokes
Why does the zone light on the D360 Command Center light when the D279A is disarmed?
The D8112 panel is programmed with a zone code of 3271 on a particular zone. The purple jumper on the D279A is cut. As a result, the D360 zone light illuminates when the D279A is disarmed.
This is normal and will not impact the D8112 arming process. If the D1252A is used, the disarm state of the D279A is not indicated.
Overview: Time needed to charge a 12 volt back up battery connected to a D4112
How long does it take to charge a back up battery connected to the panel for the first time?
It may take as long as 12 hours.
BOSCH recommends that the battery be charged prior to the installation.
Overview: Power up charging status of the battey on a D4112 panel will send a trouble Zn 9 during Recharge cycle.
Why does the panel send a Trouble Zn 9 when the battery is charging?
After the AC is restored the battery will begin to charge. When the battery reaches a charging level of 11.1 volts, and maintains battery voltage level above 10.3 volts for 1 minute, the panel will RESET and a battery trouble (Trouble Zn 9) will be sent to the Central Station. When the battery reaches the charging level of 12.5 volts a Restoral Zn 9 is sent to the Central Station.
When do the D7112 Transmitters send a Low Battery Report?
For the Transmitters that use the 3.6V Lithium battery (D7121, D7122, D7130, D7131, D7198, and D7199), the low battery threshold is 3.4V.
For the transmitters that use the 9V Alkaline battery (D7190, D7191), the low battery threshold is 7.2V.
