Issue The panel does not report any alarms or cancel reports when a non-fire point goes into an alarm and then is silenced by the code at the keypad.   Solution   Alarm Event Abort (Non-Fire Points Only): assigns the abort feature to a Point Index. See Alarm Event Abort Window to learn how to set the Alarm Event Abort Window. If a user acknowledges a non-fire alarm point event by entering their passcode before the Alarm Event Abort Window expires: The alarm event is aborted. Alarm, Cancel* and Restoral reports associated with the alarm are not transmitted and the event becomes a local only event. *A Cancel window starts with the initiation of the alarm event and follows the Bell Time. If the user acknowledges the alarm inside the Cancel window (bell time), a Cancel or a Fire Cancel report is sent. If the Abort feature is enabled, the Cancel report is sent if the user acknowledges the alarm after the Abort window has expired, but before the bell time expires. SIA: The Cancel Window is required for SIA Control Panel Standard for False Alarm Reduction. The user hears a unique three long beep tone at the command center. The text command centers indicate that the alarm was aborted on the display. It appears as a slow flash in Alarm Memory at LED command centers. IMPORTANT: This option has no effect on Fire and Fire with Verification point types. The Alarm Event Abort feature does not apply to alarm events initiated by the ABC Keys, the Duress passcode or the keyfob Panic function. SIA: Alarm Event Abort is required for the SIA Control Panel Standard for False Alarm Reduction.  Alarm Event Abort Window-Nibble 1034 Default: 30 seconds Selections: 15 seconds, 30 seconds, 45 seconds Parameter Description This parameter sets the length of the Alarm Event Abort window. See Point Index Options 1 to apply the Alarm Event Abort feature to a point index. IMPORTANT: This option only affects non-fire points. Fire and Fire with Alarm Verification points are not affected by enabling this option. If a user acknowledges a non-fire alarm event by entering his/her passcode before the Alarm Event Abort window expires: The alarm event is aborted. Alarm, Cancel* and Restoral reports associated with the alarm are not transmitted. The alarm event becomes a local only event. The user hears a unique three long beep tone at the Command Center. The Text Command Center indicates the aborted alarm on the display. The LED Command Centers indicate the aborted alarm with a slow flash in Alarm Memory. * A Cancel window starts with the initiation of the alarm event and follows Bell Time. If the user acknowledges the alarm inside the Cancel window (Bell Time), a Cancel or Fire Cancel report is sent. Issue If the Central Station receives a signal in 4 x 2 format from a D2112 panel, how can that signal be deciphered using the programmed settings in the panel ? Solution The report code will consist of data digit 1 and data digit 2. When sending signals in Pulse, the first digit of the reported signal must be set to a particular report group in panel programming. The second digit will contain the point number or user number or event number that relates to digit one. The chart below shows the Description of what the second digit of a reported code would be if the first digit were programmed as show below. NOTE: The first digit could be any selection 0-9 or B-F for any of the report groups. To decipher the reported code: If using the D5200, look in programming under Receiver Format and RPT Groups for Pulse. The number entered beside the Report Group is what will come in as the first reported digit. Using the chart below, the point number or user number or event number that pertains to the second digit is described.                 In remote programming, view the report section of the program to determine the report group programmed for Digit one. Using the chart below, the point number or user number or event number that pertains to the second digit is described.
