Overview: Firmware revision 2.20 and higher limit errors when keypad programming a D2212 panel for D208 point expansion.
Issue
Why does the D2212 panel not allow keypad programming for a D208 point expander?
Solution
Before firmware revision 2.20, it was NOT possible to program the D2212 for a D208 Point Expander using keypad programming. Panels before firmware version 2.20 should be programmed with the D5200 handheld programmer or RAMIV/RPS download software.
Firmware revision 2.20 and above CAN be programmed via the keypad.
Overview
New RF Receiver Trouble, Receiver ‘Jammed’
When used with RF Receivers with firmware 9.0 (or later), D2212Bs with revision 3.03 firmware (or later) can display two distinct trouble conditions. The receiver trouble display is expanded to two lines.
Issue
RCVR # TROUBLE 2111
# is the receiver number (7 or 8).
RCVR # TROUBLE 1211
# is the receiver number (7 or 8).
Solution
2111 in the second line indicates that no sensor has been heard from in a calculated interval. The interval depends on the number of sensors in the system.
1211 in the second line indicates that the receiver is in a ‘jammed’ condition. Interference is at a level that prevents sensor transmissions from being received.
Issue
What handler is used to program the D2812 panel.
Solution
The D5200 2212 product handler supports the following panels: D2212, D2212B, D2212BE, D2412, D2412U, D2812, D2812U.

What is the difference between the D133 an D134?
Solution
The D133 has a single relay rated at 2A @ 30 VDC – 0.6A @ 125 VAC.
The D134 has two relays rated at 2A @ 30 VDC – 0.6A @ 125 VAC.
Current draw for the Relay is 40 mA per relay when activated.

Will an Answering Machine cause the D168A not to answer when accessed locally?
Solution
Some answering machines load down the phone line and cause it to go below 7 VDC. The D168A needs at least 7 VDC to properly process the DTMF tones.

Can I mix Heat Detectors and 2 wire smokes with a sounder when using a D132A Smoke Detector Polarity Reversing Module?
Solution
No. When a Heat detector goes into alarm it puts a short on the input zone to indicate the alarm. The D132A uses Aux power from the panel when the polarity reversal takes place and since a heat detector does not reset when polarity is reversed, it would put a direct short on the Aux power of the panel. Consequently everything connected to the same Aux power terminals would not function.
