How do I switch the scene modes "Custom mode#1" & "Custom mode#2" based on Day/Night Note: With fw7.70 a new feature was introduced that allows you to tune the scene for Day and Night separately using 2 custom scene modes.   Step-by-step guide:   1. Rename "Custom mode#1" & "Custom mode#2 to match the condition in which they will be used in, in our example we shall use Day and Night Do this by selecting "Custom mode#1" as current mode and than overwrite the name at the "Mode ID" field "Custom mode#1" > Day "Custom mode#2" > Night   2. Configure the Scene modes "Day" and  "Night" Select the scene mode "Day" and than go to "Picture settings" and configure, repeat this also for "Night" Note that the correct mode is mentioned on top of the picture settings   3. Use the Scene Scheduler to use the Day/Night profile to change at specific times of the day.   4. Possible causes and solution(s)   Causes   With FSM 5.6  the database.xml structure was slightly changed and FSM 5.6 is supporting only the new database.xml structure. This is leading after upgrade to a loss of the configured symbols (only the symbols, not the content of the devices configured on the floor plans). Therefore after upgrading from older FSM version (e.g. 5.2) to 5.6, the already configured symbols of sensors on maps are not shown correctly, they are shown are dots/circles.   Please note: If before executing the file provided below the application was opened and the sensor properties were edited by approving > at that step the symbols changed to the default symbol and the previously configured symbol cannot be recovered.   Solution   Unzip the attached file and run the .exe file as shown attached.   Enter the server address and credentials as shown below:   Then select upload data and conversion details will be shown on the right side:   ... Question   When a "sensor" panel is added on the map, in Browse mode, the status is shown as "Output Active", what does this mean? Especially if it seems that there are no outputs active on the system.   Answer   This is expected behavior, as explained below. If the Item "Panel" is e.g. 1-1.1.1 respectively 1-1.SI_PANEL.1,then this item is the Group item of the panel system status items e.g. 1-1.1.1-1 till 1-1.1.1-10. Most of these system status items have NORMAL as value after startup, others can have ON, e.g. items from Condition Monitoring. The group state is derived from the particular sub-states, the different states like ON / OFF or NORMAL / TROUBLE have different priorities concerning the derived group state. State “ON” will overrule state “NORMAL”. Since AVENAR-8000 respectively FPA-5000 v3.1 the new sub-state 1-10 “Start-Up of Panel-Application completed” has been introduced. Use the tool provided when FSM server application is installed, to manage export/import of configurations. Please note: This tool is only for configuration backup and does not include logs and history.   Step-by-step guide   Run the tool located as shown below, the tool is named as "System Configuration Import and Export" The tool only has two commands Import and Export Using export you can backup all the configurations (alarm and event log are not included in the export file). Using import you can import saved or previous configuration but note: It is not possible to upgrade directly a configuration backup. The only way is to install the old version, load the backup then update software with new version.
