Question   How can I change the BVRAdmin password of my DIVAR IP 6000 AIO?   Answer   The BVRAdmin password is a password for a Windows user and needs to be changed accordingly, from Windows settings (Select Start > Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options. Under Password, select Change and follow the directions.) Please be aware that if you have BVMS installed on your DIVAR, it is important to change in BVMS Configuration Client the iSCSI target password after this was changed for BVRAdmin user. Please refer to the below steps: go in BVMS Configuration Client click on “VRM Devices” click on pool right click on iSCSI target device edit iSCSI Device; here you have the iSCSI target credentials and you need to put in the new password for BVRAdmin user. input the new password. Note: In case the VRM is down and it shows “Service Starting” in Services after this change, please restart the system. VRM should come back online, and the system will start recording again without any issues. Important In case of password loss of the BVRAdmin user, a system recovery must be performed as described in the installation manual. Possible causes and solution(s)   A normal connection to RP using CM required user/email and password of your RP account.   Symptoms   Once you enable SingleKey ID  you will no longer be able to connect to Remote Portal using the password. You will get this error:   Solution   What you need to do is to follow the steps below: 1 . Login to your Remote Portal account    2. Once logged in to your account, go to User settings   3. Question   Can I configure camera’s calibration using recorded video (Measure-based calibration explained)?   Answer   The calibration can be done by using already recorded videos, as is demonstrated in the video below. Either video recorded on the camera's SD card or on a recorder can be used. This can save calibration time and can be done by a single person.   Access the calibration menu and choose Measure.  By default, live video is selected as the video source, but other choices are available (1): Replay: replay either locally recorded video (on SD card) or from a configured recorder Local clip: record video based on the live video stream on the fly Snapshots: make still images based on the live stream If Replay is chosen, a video timeline will show under the video pane, which can be searched for an appropriate time, as well as paused when needed (2).   Grey lines when measuring people The grey lines beside the blue measuring elements show the calculated sizes and orientations. Any known positioning variables are copied from the Positioning tab and remaining variables are calculated based on manually sketched vertical and ground lines as well as ground angles to determine perspective, which let the camera deduce fitting values for unknown tilt, roll, height and focal length values on demand. Similar measuring elements are also available to verify the calibration. Note that vertical lines can also be used to measure height of standing persons. Question   What special characters are allowed to be used for Bosch CPP7 cameras password?   Answer   According to the Release Letter of Firmware v7.86.0019 and to the strengthened password policy: o passwords must be a minimum of 8 characters including special characters   A password must include at least one of these special characters: ! ? " # $ % ( ) { } [ ] * - = . , ; ^ _ | ~ \ Other special characters (like space + @ : < > ' & etc.) are not supported. The special character ‘+’ is not allowed in passwords anymore as it conflicts with some authentication methods. Also, it was noticed that sometimes the $ character could cause conflicts during the authentication on the camera, and you cannot connect to it at all.
