Solution To report in Modem II format, the following must be set: Be sure the receiver will accept Modem II format. Account number can be a 3 or 4 digit for modem. If using a 3 digit, program a zero as the first digit. Program item 2.3, Modem, must be set to yes. Program item 3.3, AModem, must be yes if using an alternate phone number as well. Program item 2.5, Ack14, must be set to no. Program item 3.5, AAck14 must be no if using an alternate phone number as well. Program item 2.7, Ack23, must be set to no. Program item 3.11, AAck23, must be no if using an alternate phone number as well. When Modem format is selected, the panel will ignore any entries in the CS line of the program.

Question Are Radion Wireless and B Series Keypads compatible with D7412Gv4/ D9412Gv4/ D7212GV4 Control Panels? Answer Radion Wireless and B Series Keypads are only compatible with D7412GV4 and D9412GV4 on firmware ver 2.0 or newer panels. D7412Gv4 or D9412Gv4 ver 1.0 can be upgraded to ver 2.0, however older SDI keypads will lose most of their functionality as part of the upgrade The D7212GV4 CANNOT be upgraded. Hence it will never be compatible with either of those devices.

Issue Arming perimeter with delays   Solution   Arm the Perimeter with Delays COMMAND 3 is used to arm only the perimeter of your building, leaving the interior of the building disarmed. Once you have entered COMMAND 3, the exit delay time starts. You now have a predetermined amount of time to leave before the perimeter arms. Although this command does not send a "Closing Report" to the Central Station, it will still send alarms. Enter your personal passcode and press ENT to cancel COMMAND 3. Application This arming command is useful in residential systems when you are leaving, but members of your family, a babysitter or a pet are still inside the house. In commercial installations, use this command to rearm your system when you are on the premises, but not yet open for business. This command will not send a "Closing Report" to the Central Station. Arming with COMMAND 3: 1. Ensure that all perimeter zones are secure (interior zones are not armed with this command and may remain faulted while arming with COMMAND 3). 2. Press the COMMAND bar. The Command Mode indicator light comes on. 3. Press the 3 key. The PERIMETER indicator light flashes. This indicates that the system has begun exit delay time. When the delay time expires, the light remains steady. 4. To disarm your security system or cancel COMMAND 3, enter your personal passcode and press ENT before the delay time expires.

Issue When using 4 wire smoke detectors on the D6112, where do the detectors power connections need to be landed on the panel to provide reset capabilities with Command 47?   Solution   The power connections need to be landed on terminal 15(+) and 14(-) for the reset to occur when a CMD 47 is entered at the keypad.
