Remote Connect service allows the Customer users to display cameras on Remote Portal Viewer on Video Security App and Video Security Client.   First, please make sure that the Admin added the Customer's user account in Remote Connect service for all cameras for which the customer will have access to see image (in this example MIC IP starlight 7100i)   Step-by-step guide   1.  Logon Bosch Remote Portal as Customer 2.  Add a Viewer to Remote Portal a. Remote Connect Lite service enables connection between Divar network/hybrid, cloud and client software. Remote Connect Lite provides a fix domain name to access the Divar network/hybrid from remote.   Notes: Divar network/hybrid require local network configuration as detailed in the Divar's Operation Manual (DIVAR 2000 | DIVAR 3000 | DIVAR 5000 Network/Hybrid Recorder, page 42). Question   Which ports are used by Bosch DIVAR Mobile Viewer App?   Answer   TCP port: Default is 37777. This port is used by the Bosch DIVAR Mobile Viewer to connect to the recorder with mobile phones. The Web client also use TCP port 37777. UDP port: Default is 37778   To access a unit, a user must log on using the same User ID and Password used for local access. The DIVAR Mobile Viewer will follow the permissions of the user account, restricting the functions available to each remote user; for example, the ability to archive video. Therefore, before using the App please make sure that you have configured the Passwords, users and ports on your DIVAR and the same data is entered in the App.   Go to your router that connects your recorder to the internet and forward these communication ports: HTTPS, RTSP and TCP. If you plan to connect through HTTP as well, forward the HTTP port in your router. Bosch advises to use only HTTPS connections for a higher security. Read your router manual for instructions to forward ports to a device. Possible causes and solution(s)   Causes   The DIVAR IP unit came with BoschAppliance Folder on E:\ drive from stock (BVMS 10.1). By pressing the “Upgrade” button from the Software Center, the upgrading process of BVMS from 10.1 to 11 cannot be finalized. The USB driver has a different letter than E:\ and DIVAR IP Software Center seems to look only in this root, in fact it doesn't find the new software.   Solution   Important: If the USB driver has a different letter than E:\ and given that the Software Center is looking only in E:\ path, please DO NOT change the complete folder "BoschAppliance" in this root with the one downloaded for BVMS 11.0. If you will change it in this way, all the packets will be installed correctly except the 2 packets (Auto-desk design and Limited user) Therefore, to fix this behavior: In USB driver, let the "BoschAppliance" folder named as it is and rename the "BoschAppliance" folder from E:\ path to BoschAppliance_old and the Software Center will recognize the correct drive letter of the USB. Format the USB Drive in exFAT and format it again to NTFS   Please make sure that the following procedure is performed correctly:  Upgrade Download and unzip the software installation package (for example, DIP-73 Installer for BVMS 11.0) archive from http://www.boschsecurity.com Copy the folder structure onto a USB drive, so that BoschAppliance folder is at the root level Note: make sure that complete folder structure is copied. Bosch Alarm Management allows event-based and continuous cloud recording of connected cameras. This function is independent from storage of alarm/event clips that are part of "Alarm Management".   Please make sure that these pre-conditions are met: You have access to a Alarm Management instance The camera that you want to configure for Cloud Storage is connected to the Alarm Management Your Bosch camera is connected via the Remote Portal to Alarm Management Your 3rd party camera is connected directly with the Alarm Management You have activated the appropriate Cloud Storage license in Remote Portal for the respective camera   Step-by-step guide   1. In Alarm Management Configuration, configure Recording Mode and Cloud Storage.   Livestream only: Cloud Storage is disabled; existing cloud recordings are deleted. Read access to cloud storage (recording off): The camera is not recording in the cloud. Existing cloud recordings are kept until the retention time is exceeded. Give access to local recording: The camera is recording in the cloud on motion trigger. Alarm agents can replay the recordings from the cloud and local recording e.g. from SD card or VRM. Event-based cloud recording: The camera is recording in the cloud on motion trigger. Alarm agents can replay the recordings from the cloud. Display local recordings: The camera is not recording in the cloud. Alarm agents can replay local recordings e.g. from SD card or VRM. Continuous cloud recording: The camera is continuously recording in the cloud. Alarm agents can replay the recordings from the cloud and local recording e.g. from SD card or VRM.   Note: Pre-alarm recording is not available for Bosch and ONVIF cameras. Set the right recording mode and the appropriate retention time. Standard retention times are 7, 14, 30 days of retention. Exceptions and specific retention times can be offered on request for users of a dedicated Alarm Management instance. The storage size is fixed and defined by the activated license in the Remote Portal. After configuration your cloud camera is all set and you should be able to see video from the camera in the Alarm Management Live View. Video Control/ Alarm Management Live View   You can reach the Live View by logging into your Alarm Management instance as an operator. The HTML5 Video Control then provides the following functionality for live video and playback of the cloud recording.   Playback mode details: 1: Calendar: Days with recordings are displayed in a circle Click to select the date   4: Enable audio playback from the recordings and control the volume.   7: Select pre- and post alarm recording to be exported.   9: Settings: Speed: Replay speed   3.
