The thermal mode is saved in the preposition settings. If you have changed the thermal mode of the camera in the Picture Settings Thermal page and you also want the Thermal color mode to apply to the existing saved pre-position, you have to re-save the pre-position again.  

ONVIF control of the thermal DZ was never planned for the MIC-9000i in the launch of the product. However, you can get the Pan and Tilt via ONVIF Device Manager to work by enabling the PTZ configuration of the stream.
