    This article will guide you to upgrade your MIC camera. This procedure is not applicable for   MIC   440 Explosion Proof version. Protocol change must be executed in our repair center, hence unit must be send to our repair center by RMA procedure.   Connected by use of USB / RS485 converter. Do not use the “Transparent” USB converter anymore as this is not compatible the latest version of Universal Camset Software 4.12 Make sure that you have the MICUSB485VTR2 (USB to RS485) Make sure you have programmed on your PC latest Firmware of Camset Software. Version 4.12 includes the MIC file 1.07 which contain all available protocols.   IMPORTANT: DO NOT connect theMIC-USBto the PCUSBport UNTIL AFTER the software has been installed. In case   Bi-phase   card has been inserted in Power Supply box, remove this PCB during upgrading of your   MIC   camera, in very few cases this could cause a connection failure.

    An object moving or a low/ higher contrast scene can throw off the autofocus option, resulting in a soft focus or even not focus at all. Using manual focus is an obvious solution, but manual focus isn’t exactly easy to get sharp images. Manual focus requires a bit of know-how and some practice to get right.     When in upright position the combo illuminators are already mounted, and afterwards the camera needs another position ( INVERTED ),  please remove first the illuminators prior starting the procedure to change the ORIENTATION. If not, then you will get the next message: “Changing orientation is not possible because of the mounted illuminators”

    Each camera imager can be configured separately and therefore many settings can be made and checked separately. Settings in the Installer Menu can be made on a per-camera basis, including sensor mode, image rotation & lens settings with the lens wizard. Please find in this article some settings you can do separately for each FLEXIDOME multi 7000i camera imager on the camera’s web page.

    ‘Display stamping’ submenu has been moved from the General menu to the Camera menu. Open one browser Type the IP address of your camera Go to Configuration > expand the Camera menu. The "Display stamping" menu will be displayed there. Options are much more flexible than in the previous cameras, they are now like CPP13 cameras (INTEOX).

    The camera may be out of focus during a rapid zoom change if: There is a large amount of reflection with full sunlight. Or, there are headlights or bright lights present at night. This problem occurs most often when used in traffic applications.   Causes:   The camera tries to focus on the bright lights and fails to find the correct focus position (example snapshot of headlights below).     MIC 7000i with FW 7.72 shows blurred images. After restart, the quality of the image is good for a short time, but the issue reappear. Only Applicable to these models: MIC 7000i (MIC-7502-Z30x) MIC 9000i (MIC-9502-Z30x)   Find how you can fix this issue from this article!

    This camera does not have the auto-focus functionality in the same sense as Autodome / Mic cameras.

    The default SMTP port number for Bosch IP cameras is 25. The required SMTP port can differ depending on the service provider. From FW 5.80.0073 onwards it is possible to change the SMTP port using Alarm Task Script Language (ATSL).
