    When an operator client is connected to an older version (than itself) of the (Enterprise) Management Server, it will run in compatibility mode. 1. An operator client cannot connect to a newer (Enterprise) Management Server: the Operator Client needs be of a higher version than the (Enterprise) Management Server. 2. The compatibility in an Enterprise system is determined by the version of the Management Server of the Subsystem and the Operator Client. In production systems it is not recommended to use versions which are released more than two years apart.

    This article answers whether the FLEXIDOME Multi 7000i camera consumes 4 licenses in BVMS. From BVMS 11.1 and newer version, the FLEXIDOME Multi 7000i camera is using only 1 license (including 4 channels). For BVMS lower than 11.1, then it will consume you 4 channel licenses.

    Camera name is displayed 'Camera 1' in Video Security Client (App), not as it is in Alarm Management. Even that the camera name is changed in Alarm Management in the Device name from the Devices menu or in the Channel name from the Channels menu, the camera name remains displayed as "Camera 1" in the Video Security Client (App).     This is how every VRM behaves when it is accessed in a web Browser. This is happening because there is no https certificate loaded on the VRM and you can't even create a self-signed certificate for HTTPS access like for cameras. You need to click on "Advanced" and then on the link bellow. So, this is the way it is intended to work.
