The MinIris and MaxIris values could be configured when the camera is mounted and installed in specific lighting conditions.

Sometimes it is preferable to have a different “user mode” during the day then in the night. Our cameras by default have the option to switch the user mode e.g. triggered by the camera D/N switch over. But also other triggers can be chosen. Answer It only depends on the version of BVMS you have. If you have BVMS 7.5, certain cameras with a certain FW have been tested and are supported. If you have BVMS 8.0, certain cameras with a certain FW have been tested and are supported. For BVMS versions of 9.0 or lower, only tested cameras must be added, otherwise we cannot support new setup. On DIP 3000 you can only upgrade to BVMS 8.0. The version of Windows installed on it does not support older versions of BVMS, it is not compatible. Recommended to use BVMS 8.0, the largest version supported on that unit. This only happens when you perform the export in BVMS Operator Client.

XProtect offers 3 different modes of metadata streaming. What are the differences there?

BP+ (Baseline Profile +) is available in any of the new ARM based chipset encoders, like the VIP-X1 XF.  BP+ is needed for compatibility with Divar and hardware decoders, for example, theVIP XD decoder.

During the troubleshooting process, the Central Technical Support team often needs to run several different loggers to gain a more complete understanding of the problem. This log collection method is useful only when an issue can be reproduced fast, because the logs are overwirtten.

During the BVMS upgrade from v11.1.1 to v12.0 through System Manager v2.0 on the DIVAR IP 6000 AIO, the software file placed on an external drive is not visible to be installed. What could be the cause?

The red x  indicates that the password of the camera is not set in your DIVAR and you will be not able to see the camera’s image.
