This article provides a step-by-step guide about how you can disable UPnP of Bosch IP cameras & multicast scan from Configuration Manager.
One of the reason why UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) is enabled in our devices is because ONVIF uses this to scan the ONVIF device in the network.
If ‘Calibration upload to camera failed’ for CPP7.3 & CPP13 Bosch cameras please follow the below steps:
Upgrade Configuration Manager to version 7.61.
This must be used in combination with CPP13 Firmware 8.45 or later
This article provides the following solution regarding: Bosch CPP7.3 cameras: DHCP does not follow the standard protocol (FW v7.85.0016)
Upgrade your camera to FW 7.86.0019 and perform a factory default (access Download Store here).
The time effort to fix this in older FW will be planned for early March 2023.
Once installed and licensed, an application can also be uninstalled from the camera. In this case, the license is being returned to the license pool. It can then be installed on another device.
Please note: no return option is possible for the *complete offline use case.
Essential Video Analytics (VCA) does not work as soon as the image is rotated to 90 degrees (under Initialization) and the camera is restarted. Additionally, the movements or objects are not recognized.
As soon as you set "Rotate image" to 0 degrees and set it back to 90 degrees, motion detection via Essential Video Analytics suddenly works again.
