    Possible causes and solution(s) Cameras which get connected from the customer's site to Bosch Remote Portal use an outgoing connection via TCP port 42000. Outgoing connections usually are not blocked by a router, however in a corporate network with proxy server, firewall, etc. involved, the IT department might open the needed ports. The troubleshooting steps below might help you to connect cameras to Bosch Remote Portal.   Known issues on camera commissioning In most cases when camera commissioning fails, the root cause is: No connection to Bosch Security Cloud from the customer’s site Blocked Internet connectivity (e.g. blocked ports by proxy or firewall) User belongs to more than one Company in Remote Portal The camera is already commissioned to a different cloud instance Known camera firmware issues Known camera date issue Further…

    In many cases a minimum and maximum retention time needs to be defined in a video surveillance systems due to legal requirements. While the minimum retention time defines the time period for how long video recordings need to be stored, the maximum retention time defines after which period of time the recordings have to be deleted. Thus, the minimum retention time is going to influence the amount of storage needed. The higher the minimum retention time the more storage space is required.

    When doing a pull point subscription, at the Start of the events Rule Engine/LineDetector/Crossed is missing, even though the rule is configured, and is given in the GetEventProperties response. The topic name space for RuleEngine/ FieldDetector/ ObjectInside works as expected.

    Limited user is available on DIVAR IP all-in-one 4000, if the unit has HDDs inside. Every setup with DIVAR IP System Manager, on any DIP (AIO 7000 GEN 3, AIO 4000, AIO 5000, AIO 6000) that is "00N" (without HDDs) will fail and result in a lack of a "limited user" and "kiosk mode", if you do not insert the HDDs and perform the necessary steps from the manual.

    OPC server is installed on the BVMS server OPC client software is installed (the client used in this article is Softing OPC Toolbox Demo Client), and the user can connect to OPC server that is running on BVMS server, but the user cannot send any command from 3rd party OPC client to BVMS system, for example changing the status of virtual inputs. There are no events coming from OPC to BVMS and the OPC client is not present in the list for third party integrations with BVMS

    We found that there was a change in the way intelligent tracking worked after CPP 7.3 firmware v7.62.0005. With these changes if an object triggered an alarm that turned on intelligent tracking, the camera would not track the object. It would wait for another object to trigger an alarm to track it.

    Please note that the relay output of the IO Alarm card is a dry contact relay (with 24VAC/VDC, 5 A). In order to control another circuit that has a 230V you can't do that directly because its higher than it was design for. In order to safety control a 230V, you could use a 24V on that output and control an additional/external relay: powering its coil this relay could switch the 230 circuit of the washer.
