    The browser supported by Bosch cameras depends on the CPP that camera belongs to and on the Firmware version the camera has.. In web browsers that do not support MPEG-ActiveX, VCA configuration is only possible via Configuration Manager.

    he Project Assistant offers two ways of importing existing project data: Option 1)   Importing a   .bpassist   file, which was exported from the app at some point and which contains all information and data ever created/entered inside the app for that specific project. Simply select the "Project Assistant" mode >> click "continue" >> and press "import". Option 2)   Importing from a   tab-separated   text   file. This option may be useful, if you have existing project data, e.g. in an   Excel   spreadsheet, which you want to transfer into the Project Assistant for further use. A network management server can poll the health status of a device via SNMP requests. This article shows how to configure Bosch cameras in order to be able to answer to such requests. Our cameras by default have the option to switch the user mode e.g. triggered by the camera D/N switch over. But also other triggers can be chosen.     The camera supports the SNMP V1 (Simple Network  Management Protocol) for managing and monitoring network  components, and can send SNMP messages (traps) to IP  addresses. It supports SNMP MIB II in the unified code. You may need the SNMP MIB file when you are trying to monitor the camera through a Bosch or 3rd party software. Other advantages: easier integration with 3rd party security system components, such as VMS and recording solutions. allows installers and integrators to use the same interface that supports the entire Bosch product portfolio. new camera and software releases, regardless of the price segment, can be easily added to an existing security surveillance system. it helps you to find the right version of firmware you need for your camera   Where you can find the CPP of you Bosch IP camera?   1. Release notes: you can search for it directly on the product page > under Downloads section you will see the CPP version of your camera. In this example, the CPP for FLEXIDOME IP panoramic 5000 MP camera is CPP4:   2.  You can find the CPP of your camera on the web page by entering the IP address of it. Go to Configuration > Service > System Overview   CPP & Firmware: All firmware releases for the various Common Product Platforms (CPP) for Bosch IP cameras and video encoders can be found on the Bosch Security and Safety Systems page in Download Area.
