How to upgrade BVMS from version 10.1 to version 12.0.0/ 12.0.1 on DIVAR IP 7000 AIO gen3?

Important Note:

• The upgrade up to and including BVMS 11.1.1 should be done by using DIVAR IP Software Center packages.
• Upgrade from Software Center to DIVAR IP System Manager is required to further upgrade to BVMS 12.0.0 and higher using System Manager packages.
• Keep in mind that SMA is required for DIVAR IP upgrade. Before upgrading DIVAR IP, please make sure you have appropriate licenses for the new version, before starting the upgrade process.

Step-by-step guide

1. In order to upgrade a DIVAR IP all-in-one 7000 (DIP-73xx), managed by DIVAR IP Software Center and running previous versions of BVMS, first upgrade the BVMS version to BVMS 11.1.1  by using DIVAR IP Software Center package.

2. Then, install DIVAR IP System Manager application version 2.0.0 or higher from Download Store (Software > BVMS Appliances). Follow the steps as explained in the YouTube video below or in the release note of System Manager.

3. After that, perform the software upgrade using the BVMS 12.0.0 System Manager package 1.0 or BVMS 12.0.1 System Manager package 1.0 or further versions when available.

• To download the BVMS 12.0.0/ BVMS 12.0.1 System Manager package 1.0, go to 
  https://downloadstore.boschsecurity.com/
• Then, under the Software tab, select BVMS Appliances from the list and click Select.
• Locate the BVMS_12.0.X_SystemManager_package_1.0.zip file from the list of all available software packages, and save it to a storage medium such as a USB stick.
• Unzip the files on the storage medium. Do not change the folder structure of the unzipped files.
• Connect the storage medium to your DIVAR IP all-in-one system and follow the Upgrading software chapter - page 13

Note: If the message below occurs during the BVMS upgrade from 10.1 to version 12.0 on your DIVAR IP 7000 AIO gen3, please consider this procedure as the correct guide in the upgrade process.
