    Regular BVMS 12.1 installer will not run on any DIVAR IP all-in-one platform. The upgrade shall be performed via DIVAR IP System Manager application. Usually, we recommend to upgrade BVMS in steps. Each version should not be more than ~two years apart. This prevents potential issues in the upgrade process.

    When an operator client is connected to an older version (than itself) of the (Enterprise) Management Server, it will run in compatibility mode. 1. An operator client cannot connect to a newer (Enterprise) Management Server: the Operator Client needs be of a higher version than the (Enterprise) Management Server. 2. The compatibility in an Enterprise system is determined by the version of the Management Server of the Subsystem and the Operator Client. In production systems it is not recommended to use versions which are released more than two years apart.

    This is how every VRM behaves when it is accessed in a web Browser. This is happening because there is no https certificate loaded on the VRM and you can't even create a self-signed certificate for HTTPS access like for cameras. You need to click on "Advanced" and then on the link bellow. So, this is the way it is intended to work.

    Are you searching for a specific Firmware/Software version and unsure of what to expect when contacting Central Technical Support? Verify if the requested FW/SW version is publicly available or not. If publicly available, they will provide you with the download link for the SW/FW version (e.g.  Download Store or Product Catalogue) If NOT publicly available then, the Central Technical Support team will internally check and depending on the SW/FW version an approval must be requested. The request can be approved or rejected by internal Bosch department. In both cases, you will be informed. Depending on the requested older/special FW/SW versions that are not available on our Download Store website, the following steps could be taken: Central Technical Support will provide you with the "Legacy SW/FW Request Form". You will be required to sign and fill in the "Legacy SW/FW Request Form" with all necessary details and return it to Central Technical Support. The Central Technical Support team will verify whether the form is filled in and signed with all the required details. All information provided on the form must be approved by internal Bosch department before the requested FW/SW version is provided.     The attached documents should help you to make the upgrade process as smooth as possible. The upgrade itself is not restricted to BVMS software only. The supported software and firmware versions can be found in the release notes of the related BVMS version.
