    Starting from July 2024, it will not be possible to commission new devices via MAC address (Device Layer). Running devices remain untouched until end of life of Device Layer, but new commissioning will be only possible with Remote Portal devices from then on.

    Hash Tag "#" is one of the few special characters, which is accepted by the camera, but it cannot be accepted on BVMS side (in order to connect to the camera) — due to the limitations of communication specifics some BVMS components are using. And as a result, communication might not work properly and "No connection" warning message in Operator Client image pane and black screen might occur

    Any modification of the DIP unit IP, adding of a Network Dongle, moving of the ethernet cable in another network switch, even temporary, will stop the communication between the VRM and BVMS and could lead to issues. (e.g. No recording /iSCSI Target unreachable etc.)

    This is how every VRM behaves when it is accessed in a web Browser. This is happening because there is no https certificate loaded on the VRM and you can't even create a self-signed certificate for HTTPS access like for cameras. You need to click on "Advanced" and then on the link bellow. So, this is the way it is intended to work.
