How is the behavior of Bosch cameras when PoE and 12 VDC / 24 VAC power are simultaneous used?
This article describes the behavior of the cameras when two power inputs are connected to the camera. The behavior of the Bosch cameras is described in 5 different situations:
• Simultaneous use of power supplies
• Unplugging the 24 VAC / 12 VDC / 5 V cable
• Unplugging the PoE cable
• Connecting the 24 VAC / 12 VDC / 5 V cable
• Connecting the PoE cable
The first table lists cameras and their possible power sources. The remaining tables describe the behavior of the different camera series with different power sources.
The table below lists each camera with its power input.
