Bosch Video Streaming Gateway (VSG) is a separate “Sub-Service” of VRM that can run independently, or in conjuction with VRM. VSG acts as an iSCSI NVR for non iSCSI capable devices.
VSG is specifically designed to provide integration for 3rd party ONVIF, JPEG, RTSP, and legacy H.263 Bosch devices.
The base functional capabilities of VSG are as follows:
One VSG Server Platform can support 7 VSG Worker Instances
Each Worker Instance can support 32 Cameras
The total supported cameras for one VSG server is 224 Cameras
This article describes you how to determine the Video Streaming Gateway (VSG) throughput and performance.
In the past (prior to Windows Server 2012 R2), in order to perform NIC Teaming, we would have needed two adapters which were from the same vendor, and a third-party software that would make the teaming possible and present the OS with just one “virtual” network card.Now from Windows Server 2012 R2 and up, this is built-in and its hardware agnostic.
This means you can use whatever network cards you want and the teaming will work like a charm.
The purpose of this article is to assist you with the creation of mirrored drive sets in a DIVAR IP all-in-one 5000 Recording Appliance.
This procedure should be performed on new appliances that have not yet been deployed.
⚠️ Before performing this procedure you must aware of the following:
• Performing this procedure on a commissioned system will result in none specific video loss
• Re-imaging the appliance after performing this procedure will result in loss of all data and mirrored sets
• Mirroring must be performed in “Disk Management” and not with the chipset provided in the hardware
• Creating mirrored sets will result in a performance loss of 20%
• All mirrored drives will be converted to “Dynamic Disks” during the mirror creation process
• This process can be performed on a two or four drive units
This article explains how to set an Unconfigured Bad Drive to Unconfigured Good on a DIVAR IP 6000/ 7000.
This step is required if the new drive is not listed under Unconfigured Drives. A possible reason for the Unconfigured Bad status is when a device that has not been removed properly is reconnected to the controller.
The haneWIN DHCP server software implements a DHCP and BOOTP server based on RFC 2131. The DHCP Server is implemented as a native service for background operation, A Control Panel applet provides interactive access to the service.
The server supports automatic DNS updates for DHCP configured clients.

According to the Installation Manual of the DIVAR IP 7000/ 6000:
All DIVAR IP systems are preconfigured with default network, user and iSCSI settings.
By default, the virtual network adapter (the two physical NIC ports are teamed by default) is configured to obtain a valid network address from a DHCP server in the local network.
The haneWIN DHCP server software supports multiple address pools for dynamic IP address assignment as well as fixed IP address assignment to clients.
Load balancing is provided with respect to the bandwidth and the number of iSCSI connections and is configurable per IP address ( iSCSI target).
Load-balancing parameters are optimized for the DIVAR IP 5000 default configuration (JBOD). When running DIVAR IP 5000 in RAID 1 mode, load-balancing parameters may need adaptation in BVMS.
Navigate in the device tree of BVMS Configuration Client to VRM devices > Local VRM > [Context Menu of the storage expansion] > Load Balancing

5000: The DIVAR IP all-in one 5000 is a RAID 1 and JBOD supported small tower office server for up to 42 channels with 4 internal HDDs and a maximum storage capacity of 48 TB.
7000 2U: The DIVAR IP all-in-one 7000 2U is a RAID 5 and RAID 6 supported 2U rack appliance for up to 256 channels with 8 internal HDDs and a maximum storage capacity of 96 TB.
7000 3U: And the DIVAR IP all-in-one 7000 3U is a RAID 5 and RAID 6 supported 3U rack management appliance for up to 256 channels with 16 internal HDDs and a maximum storage capacity of 192 TB.
